Uluru

Today on Zoey’s expedition, I’m at Uluruthe heart of Australia. This morning I got up early and travelled by plane to Uluru. Since the airport is so far fromAyers rock. I loaned/hired a camel and rode on it in the burning broiling sun. This would be appalling for families unless they all want a tan!

During the ride, I saw the red sand that travelled into my eye. It stung my eye so much that I was crying. Next time I will bring sunglasses. The ground wasn’t just full of painful sand their was also some sage, that seemed like it was dyeing. If you love to see some plants this is the place for you!

I soon arrived at the big sandstone rock, I laid my eyes on on the fiery red texture and the rust like cave. I saw a board that told me, it has been here for 600 million years ago and indigenous has lived here for over 10,000 years. The way this place is preserved is that it was being funded by the government.

I joined a group to eat aboriginal food. I was offered wichetty grubs, I agreed and the local people gave me a big bulging grubs and it was wriggling. I took the grub by its head and had one huge bite. The grub was wiggling in my mouth it was like a grub wiggling into the dirt. The grub was chewy and tasted like almond and fried egg, it was abhorrent in my opinion.

I urge you to come have an adventure in Uluru, because this is the bees knees.
