Goroka

I was taking the plane to Goroka, I was running and I dropped all of my travel documents, while I was hurrying to catch my plane. I couldn’t pick it up so I asked the flight attendant to pick them up and I will pay her. The money I had to pay was $300, I mean what a….waste of money!

I sat in my seat and when I arrived at Goroka airport, I caught an Uber to Pacific Garden Hotelwhile Kelly (aka my best friend) went to the cultural festival. I was at the hotel watching the speeches and performances but, I didn’t go, I just felt like I had a cold.

If you love to party, you will love the cultural festival. I was told by Kelly that the markets sell amazingly good things. What ever you do come to Goroka.I beg you!    

One of the speakers explained that UNESCO still hasn’t come up with a management plan, yet. Then he said “remember Gorokais our home and we love and cherish it.” 

Did you know that Gorokais the capital city of the Eastern Highlands Provinceof Papa New Guinea, and that 19,000 people live there. I’m so glad that I could experience the wonders of Goroka.
