Bungle Bungle Ranges

On Zoey’s adventures, this week I travelled to Bungle Bungle Ranges in Kimberley Australia. I was hiking at the desert environment, while hiking I got some rocky dirt in my boot. The hike was long and I barely made it to the rocks formation, I felt like I died in the furious sun. My whole body was sticky and wet from the humidity.

The rocks were like puffy slime and the water in the centre was crystal blue pond, I leaned on the rock. I wondered how is this place protected and I learnt that UNESCO preserved this place by closing the park during the wet season. They also  moved cattle, feral donkeys and cats, and if there are any issues Australia reports them to UNESCO.

I gazed at the rocky ceiling and was curious why the oak was orange and black.  I researched on the internet why and it was because the rock was 350 million yeas old, the orange was caused by the silicon released by the rain. While the black is caused by algae and flakes on the oldest rock in the world. The view of the rock was spectacular it would be perfect for an artist who loves nature.

I urge you to travel to Bungle Bungle Ranges before all of its beauty, vanishes from the face of the earth.
